70 golfers had a great time golfing and helping FIH as we near completion of our mission; bringing healthcare to the people of Fondfred, Haiti. Thanks to The Winchendon School for all that they did to make this a success. The tournament was held at the Winchendon School Golf Course and they were all very generous and hard working.
For the record:
The first place team from Townsend, MA scored a 57. The team consisted
of Mike Harnett, Cathy Walmsley, Jimmy Walmsley & FIH board member
and frequent traveler to Haiti Sandy Hartnett. As always Sandy you did FIH proud!
The second place team scored a 59. The team and last years winners from Boucher Funeral Home consisted of Andrew Boucher, Paul Cormier, Larry Walsh & Josh Letendre.
The third place team scored a 60 from The Winchendon School consisted of Adrian Clewlow, Mel Clewlow, Todd Bucklin & Sean Duncan.
70 Golfers participated. There was a chance to win a new car for a
hole-in-one and 15 golfers participated in a putting contest for
$25,000. Sorry to say no winners.
Will let everyone know when the tournament will be held next year once we have a date.
