Tomorrow
is the first Sister City Golf Tournament at the Gardner Municipal Golf
Course. This kicks off and celebrates the inauguration as Gardner, Ma
and Fondefred, Haiti become Sister Cities. FIH is the proud recipient of
the proceeds. Over 60 golfers, an Octoberfest Dinner, and many donated
auction and raffle items complete the celebration.
Thanks to all who have worked
so hard, especially Jimmy Krasouskas owner of Anthony's Liquor Mart
who inspired the Sister City idea and Golf Tournament, Debbie Orre co-chair and tireless worker, Ben Eagan of the Gardner Golf Course, and Gardner Mayor Mark Hawke.
